Called the ‘gatekeeper of the news for CT’s political class,’ Capitol Report is an online news platform providing curated links to in-depth coverage of Connecticut's political landscape, government affairs, and public policy issues.
Since 2009, Capitol Report has been published by 35-year political insider Tom Dudchik. Since the early ’80’s Tom Dudchik has been a fixture in Connecticut politics. Tom served in the Connecticut General Assembly in 1984 from the 104th district serving Ansonia and Derby. Under Governor Weicker, Tom served as Deputy Commissioner of the state Department of Environmental Protection and as Deputy Chief of Staff to Governor Weicker.
Tom also hosts an award-winning, Emmy nominated, Sunday morning television program ‘Capitol Report’ on New Haven’s ABC affiliate WTNH.
